The Potomac and Shenandoah rivers supply our drinking water and are home to local catches like crabs, oysters, and smallmouth bass. The rivers also support our local tourism, outfitter, and farming industries.
All of the resources the rivers provide are threatened by pollution, which is why we must act now to restore them.
You can learn more about the issues that affect the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers, as well as the smaller runs and streams that feed the rivers. You can also view our interactive map and find out what sources of pollution affect the waters near you.
