On Novmeber 9th, 2011, Potomac Riverkeeper participated in the Give to the Max Day. This massive one-day online fundraiser benefited local non-profits serving the greater Washington DC metro area. For 24 hours, local residents donated online to help raise over $2 million dollars for local nonprofits.

We here at Potomac Riverkeeper advertised to our memebrs and through our online networks to raise $6,710!! Thanks to our 38 donors who contributed to us during this event!

Sarah Sorenson, our Production & Membership Coordinator, finished off the night at the Give to the Max final countdown to midnight at The Park at 14th.
